
Remember - ways to reduce stress and abuse as a caregiver:
- It is your duty to report to Adult Protective Services. It is not your job or duty to investigate.
- What can you do in the meantime? You can brainstorm and build a team. Look into your community and contact a Victim Advocate. Find Resources in your community to build a Safety Plan. This can include your current team of Care Providers, but don't forget, it should also include a Victim Advocate.
- Continue to provide services as requested on Your Plan of Care or Treatment Plan.
