Protection for Mandatory Reporters

Statutory protection: AS 47.24.120 (a, b)

  • A reporter is immune from civil or criminal liability
  • A reporter is free from retaliation by a supervisor or employer

If you have made a "good faith" report of harm, that is based on real information, this statute protects you from being fired, threatened or intimidated by your employer.
