Services were set up to support her in her own home, and due to the many complaints given to the care coordinator, she called Adult Protective Services herself and explained what the situation was and all of the precautions that had been taken to support the client in the community. The client was able to live on her own for almost a year before she died due to complications from another heart attack. The family members were very grateful that the care coordinator had advocated on their mother's behalf.
